Dowsing the results of another dowser made clear. Our minds are the conduit through which passes the dowsing question to the “source” and the answer we eventually receive. Our entire body is the antenna used to send and receive our questions and answers. (A pendulum, rod or any other dowsing tool is an extension of our antenna (body). This ends all similarities in dowsers. Each dowser arrives at his or her answer in a way that has been learned or developed by the individual. This attests for millions of techniques employed by all the different dowsers worldwide. No two dowsers practice exactly the same.

One protocol that is highly recommended is to write down the proposed question to be dowsed. Then dowse to see if the question is worded correctly. (Who’s definition of “correct” is determined the “absolute” truth, yours, mine or the dowser down the street? Only your “correct” will work for you!)

Here is the example that happens every day with dowsers:
One dowser proposes a question, dowses to see that the question is worded correctly, with an affirmative, he then dowses the question. The variable in this scenario is while this dowser is asking and waiting for an answer, how much discipline and control does he have to stay focused? IF HIS MIND BROKE CONCENTRATION FOR A FRACTION OF A SECOND his dowsed results WILL NOT BE THE SAME AS ANOTHER DOWSER THAT STAYS FOCUSED!

Here is the test to prove your ability to stay focused:
Take a book or any printed page and lay it on the table where you will dowse your map, or general question. Find the letter “e” anywhere in the text. Now read your dowsing question and swing the pendulum while staring at the “e”. In the three seconds that it took your pendulum to react to your question, your mind diverted an average of twice, even though it was a fraction of a second, even though you caught yourself and got back on track, these diversions effect your dowsed answer.

Therefore, because it is impossible to replicate the exact thought processes in another person’s mind, NO dowser can accurately “check” another dowser’s work.

Dowsing treasure books have been written, armchair dowsers have shared their pearly words of wit, and newsletters have been spewed for years to deliver the silver bullet for dowsing treasure. Dowsing treasure on a scale of 1-10 is a 10 in difficulty, whereas finding an underground stream of water for a well would be a 2. Having declared the difficulty of dowsing treasure, let me make a laundry list of conditions that must be met before you start dowsing:

•	There has to be a valid need for recovery of the treasure, dowse to see if your “need” is valid,
•	Permission from the “System” has to be given to recover the treasure, If the answer is no, FORGET ABOUT IT, move on to another treasure,
•	Dowse to see if your treasure question is phrased correctly, (use definitions such as, “treasure that is worn on the neck and that is silver in color”), BE SPECIFIC,
•	If someone has died over the ownership of the treasure, this issue needs to be dealt with,
•	When searching a map or the field, the right tools need to be used at the right time, (is it a good time to dowse?),
•	The question is always phrased, “treasure”, never about gold, (silver, currency or jewelry) as there is sub-atomic gold practically everywhere on the planet. You can get a false hit on sub-atomic particles, be right that it is gold and never be able to see it without a microscope… or you may detect an unprofitable vein of gold that has nothing to do with your treasure quest,
•	While doing a sweep, ask a structured, qualifying question such as, “Let the rod lock on Aunt Pearl’s buried treasure.” Then, while walking in the direction of the rod lock, ask, “let the rods cross over the treasure Aunt Pearl buried.”
•	Here is the Silver Bullet: If your mind wanders for a fraction of a second, start the sweep or search over! Stay focused and BLOCK ALL ITEMS FROM YOUR MIND EXCEPT THE ITEM SEARCHED FOR.
While dowsing treasure, your conscious mind wants to please you and will automatically substitute items that will result in “dry holes”. You must train the mind to do as it is told.
•	Keep a Journal and record all your failures, without them you are not learning.

Dowsing treasure can be fun. Broaden your definition of treasure, learn the training required to keep your mind focused, only on the dowsed target. Practice often, this would require you to make a test plot (bury items that you will eventually search for). Don’t expect to read this explanation and rip up the mother lode on your next outing to the field. Successful Dowsing Treasure events will climb to the 90 percentile IF you follow all the suggestions above and never give up. Once you learn the correct way to address the system, all dowsing questions will have a degree of difficulty of “2”, including Dowsing Treasure!

Dowsing witness empowers the accuracy of the answer to a dowsed question. A dowsing witness is usually a sample of the item dowsed for if the dowser is trying to locate a lost, missing or suspected item or person. Examples of dowsing witness would be a key held in the left hand while using a pendulum in the right hand. Another dowsing witness would be a lock of hair or article of clothing from someone or a pet that was lost. A coin, a ring, a vial of water, a piece of wood, or leaf from a tree could all be dowsing witness paradigms.

The dowsing witness is usually used by dowsers as an aid to improve the accuracy of their answers to dowsed questions. Although dowsing witness is an aid for beginners, some seasoned dowsers never cease to use the dowsing witness if a witness is available.

Recently an “accuracy witness” was discovered while researching great master dowsers of the past. Dowsers are constantly dowsing and building better dowsing tools. The Accuracy Dowsing Witness™ was found as a drawing and a metal sample while exploring the stored files of one of America’s great Master Dowers of yesteryear and is nicknamed the “Butterfly Witness™”. The Accuracy Dowsing Witness™ is positioned in the hand or viewed like a butterfly. The question most dowsers are asked is, “What is your percentage of accuracy?” The newly discovered Accuracy Dowsing Witness™ can improve your accuracy of an asked question by up to 30%. Note: an improperly phrased questioned will not be helped by the accuracy witness. (Always first dowse if your question is phrased properly.) The solid copper “witness” fits in the palm of your hand with or without another witness for the MOST COMPLETE accuracy aid for dowsers in 100 years.

The Accuracy Dowsing Witness™ can be used in the hand or simply laid upon a map while map dowsing for greater accuracy. We have reports that when the Accuracy Dowsing Witness was placed on the tip of a bait chamber dowsing rod, that the sensitivity and strength of “lock” increased.

The Accuracy Dowsing Witness™ is approximately 1 ½ inches wide and almost 1 3/16 inches high and shaped like a butterfly. This long lost solid copper dowsing witness is now available post paid for only $17.99!

Dowse this question now, “Is the Accuracy Dowsing Witness™ the best dowsing witness on the market today?” Satisfaction Guaranteed!

Map Dowsing for Lost Pets has been an option for pet owners that is often overlooked in the moment of strife. If you are the pet owner, your time and effort will be best spent calling a dowser who has been successful locating pets by map dowsing. Ask the dowser if they have successfully dowsed for lost pets. Be prepared to to find your pet. Be realistic, the dowser may find the pet but the dowser can not change the fate of the pet if it has expired. Ask the dowser if there is a fee. If there is NOT a fee, treat the dowser to flowers, a gift certificate to dinner, or make a donation to their favorite charity, but DO NOT EXTRACT THE GIFT of the dowser as if they owe you their time and energy. It takes time for map dowsing, research and followup… after all, someone else may lose a pet in the future and need this experts’ help. If you love your pet, pay to find them, if nothing else, make a comparable donation and tell the dowser to “pay it forward” to the next pet owner who may not be financially able to pay!

If you are a dowser just learning to dowse, there are a couple of suggestions that will help your map dowsing, enabling you to find the lost pet.

Ask these questions in order for better accuracy:
1.	Is this a good time for map dowsing? Answer: Yes, (then continue). If not, ask again in 15 minutes.
2.	Will the pet return home on its own? Answer: Yes, (Determine when). If no continue to #3.
3.	Is the pet recoverable? Answer: Yes,
4.	Is the pet recoverable by the owner? Answer: Yes. If not, is the pet recoverable by someone the owner knows?
5.	Is the pet’s heart still beating?
6.	Now start your map dowsing, and ask : Is the pet within the boundaries of the map you are using?
7.	If the pet has been gone for more than a few hours, each time the pet rests for a period of time, there is resonate energy at that spot that could give you a false location, be sure and ask if the pet left this location and has moved, or is moving away from this spot.

Accurate map dowsing can locate your pet. The confident dowser can only relay the answer to the map dowsing questions asked. If the map dowsing determines that the pet is unrecoverable, a later map dowsing will not change the answer. Map dowsing always works best when dowsed quickly after the pet’s disappearance. Use of the pet’s name is highly recommended while map dowsing in order to suppress all other pet energies that may be lost in the same area.

Map dowsing for lost pets, lost individuals, lost articles or lost treasure is done by the master dowser, at home, without an audience and usually in the quietest time of the day for the dowser. Don’t expect a map dowsing answer while you wait on the phone. Some dowsers use a witness, (toy, garment, picture of the pet or collar) to hold in one hand while swinging the pendulum in the other hand, to better focus on your pet. As your dowsing experience grows, you will find that your mind will not need a witness while map dowsing and your accuracy is proficient without a witness.

Radiesthesia, Dowsing today, using a newly formed word of 1930 is derived from two words, “radiation” and an old word “aesthesia” which is defined as “perception by the senses”. Some physicians have adopted the word radiesthesia to apply only to the dowsing of health problems in their patients. Chiropractors have also adopted radiesthesia to help locate areas of the spine and nerves that are the origin of the patients problems. Few patients are aware that some doctors and chiropractors use radiesthesia as part of their method of diagnosis.

Radiesthesia is not restricted to the medical industry. Since scientist revealed that all matter is made up of moving particles, the conclusion is that all matter vibrates. The discovery of “all matter vibrates” reveals that each type of matter in physicality emanate their own vibrational frequency. The example is: a clad dime has a different vibration than a solid silver dime. Yet, two solid silver dimes would have relative similar vibrations. Radiesthesia allows for the vibrational frequency of a single item to be received by an antenna (dowsing rod) and identified by the radiesthesiologist (dowser).

Christopher Columbus records using radiesthesia methods on his quest to find America. On cloudy or foggy days, in the middle of the Atlantic ocean, when it was difficult to use the quadrant, a steel plate was placed on the deck of the ship, the navigator stood on the plate while rotating in a circle (in place) with a dowsing rod held above his head. The rod would lock on magnetic North. This method of radiesthesia that incorporates the radiation of the steel plate and the perception of the senses of the navigator were used as early as the Egyptian Pharaohs and Chinese Dynasties. Radiesthesia is a relatively new word for an ancient method of identifying vibrational frequencies of any matter, dead, alive or inanimate.

Regardless if you encounter radiesthesia or dowsing methods in use, you are seeing vibrations received by a person and identified according to their experience. Almost everyone has the ability to receive the vibrations of any object, above or below ground, but only a few have the hundreds of hours of practice, research and study to exceed 90% accuracy.

Radiesthesia is most commonly thought of as “dowsing for water”. Man’s lack of understanding usually causes mistrust, doubt, false labeling and even the labeling of “crazy” and “heretics”. Galileo was labeled as such when with his telescope “tool” he announced that the earth was not the center of the universe. Gamma rays, x-rays and ultra violet were pooh poohed until science revealed the “tools” to convince the world that these UNSEEN light rays existed. From the beginning of time the moon was untouchable. Even today we have a few worldwide that don’t believe we really landed on the moon. Misunderstanding or unbelief does not change the facts. Radiesthesia is an English word derived from the French and incorporated just recently into our language. A German word “to locate” was first used for water dowsers. The word sounded similar to the English word “witch”, hence the misnomer was formed and has been responsible for mistrust and widespread misunderstanding even today.

Radiesthesia is a progressive scientific method that needs more study to perfect the methods already in use. A French Priest, Abbe’ Mermet (1866-1937) is to Radiesthesia as Mendel was the father to the study of genetics. Mermet spent 40 years testing, documenting and proving that Radiesthesia was scientifically explained and not of an occult. Mermet’s book, Principles and Practice of Radiesthesia was printed in English in 1957. The vibrations are there, the other 90% of our unused brain is there, and the combination of the two will eventually be as obvious as, “Oh, I think I’ll turn on the invisible energy to light my room instead of a candle…”

Dowsing Success is sought after as the “Rosetta Stone” to all unknown subjects. The lack of Dowsing success is the most common reason new dowsers lose interest and doubt the ability of any dowsing method. The question usually asked of a dowser is, “what is your percentage of accuracy?” Dowsing success can be explained in 7 parameters.

•	Dowsing success is higher in children beginning to learn dowsing over adults,
•	Correctly used dowsing protocols increase dowsing accuracy,
•	Solitary dowsing diminishes distractions and increases accuracy,
•	Morning dowsing after a restful night will increase dowsing accuracy,
•	Subject research can increase dowsing percentage of correctness,
•	A master dowser mentor can critic your dowsing, causing more accurate dowsing
•	Practice every day is the best way to improve dowsing success.

Dowsing success can be measured in percentages that vary everyday.
One should always start their dowsing session with the questions of:

1.	“Is this a good time to dowse?”
2.	“What is my percentage of accuracy today?”
3.	“Is my dowsing question phrased properly?”
4.	“Is there a valid need for this answer?”
5.	And end each query with “Was this answer the Universal Truth?”

Dowsing success can be diminished by fatigue, solar flares, the earth’s magnetic disturbances, invalid need to know, poorly phrased questions, inability to stay focused, preconceived conclusions, wishful thinking and inexperience.

Dowsing success can be explained as percentage of correctly answered questions. The law of averages is 50/50. A novice dowser following a detailed dowsing protocol will increase to 65/70%. A master dowser will be consistently 85/90%. A dowser doesn’t use a supernatural link to the architect of the universe, but does use the Universal Library. A dowser is not a prophet or seer and does not “witch”. When you go to sleep at night with a problem that you have no prior knowledge and desiring a solution, then wake up in the middle of the night or the next morning or a few mornings later with the “answer”, where did that solution come from? We propose all knowledge from the beginning of time is stored in the “Universal Library” and that dowsers use a portion of the 90% of previously unused brain, while awake, to tap into this knowledge base.

Dowsing success can always be improved upon. If you are searching for “items”, build a test plot. This test plot can be underground or inside a structure. Have a trusted person hide items and LEAVE THEM THERE! You will never know for sure what is hidden as you will not “uncover” the hidden items. Use your “L” rods or “Y” rods to search for the hidden items each day to improve dowsing success. (You may hide the items yourself, if you first place a cover over the item that will make it similar in size and shape to all other items hidden, then “shuffle” the items so that you truly do not know what item is hidden where.) Remember, dowsing success comes with practice, practice, practice.

If you have an item or treasure you want located, send a request in the form below to have the item dowsed for you. Dowsing success at its best!

Biolocation, a reception of vibration commonly defined as “Dowsing” a target. It is scientifically known that ALL objects (mass) vibrate continually. Some objects vibrate faster than others but the vibrating motion never stops. The human body has the ability to receive the vibrations and associate the vibrations with the unique source that is emanating the signal. Although we all have the ability to receive these frequency oriented vibrational signals, few have the knowledge to interpret the vibration that is completely surrounding the body. We have an array of satellite, radio, television and telephone frequency signals bombarding the body day and night that we cannot see. Our entire body is an antenna. History has recorded several dental fillings that have had the ability to receive radio signals that were audible when the patient opened their mouths. The ability of our body to receive a frequency signal and translate that signal has been called a sixth sense. The body senses paramagnetism and diamagnetism, As a result of the body’s ability to sense all magnetic matter, our body is able to be used as an intricate magnetometer. The Biolocation approach is systematic methodology coupled with scientific models that is making dowsing a highly accessible, effective and successful technique.

Many years of scientific research of Biolocation demonstrates that we are completely surrounded with an invisible array of interactive, dynamic and highly structured energy. This lesser-known form of energy is actually a type of magnetism. Human beings have known for thousands of years that we could detect and respond to this energy. This ability of detection functions on the same principles as our other senses. This ability to “sense” is the underlying mechanism of dowsing. Frequency, vibration and the ability to receive and interpret conforms to the natural laws of science. Two hundred and fifty years ago a watcher of television would have been called a “witch” or “warlock” for communing with the “spirits” of the air. Nikola Tesla was called a madman when he said he had the ability to project the image of a man (just 85 years ago) through the air. Biolocation or dowsing is not supernatural, spiritual or witchcraft, it is a scientific event that we cannot see with the naked eye. Dowsing enables us to interpret the vibrational world, which translated, reveals incredible information that seams supernatural.

Biolocation can be achieved by most people. Mastering biolocation for accuracy takes years of practice. The time to learn this form of dowsing can be shortened when the student is mentored by a successful master dowser.

Biolocation, the dowsing phenomenon, reveals a complex energy, a sophisticated sensory system and psychological factors that when combined produce facts that are impossible for the dowser to have known beforehand.

Biolocation combines the use of the following fields to sense the location of items not visible to the dowser: Electrical, Electromagnetic, Geochemical, Geothermal, Gravitational, Magnetic, Radioactive, and Seismic.

Who uses Biolocation?
This Partial list of users of dowsing may surprise you:

•	Mining Companies (Spanish and Germans 1500s)
•	Oil and gas exploration companies multinational worldwide
•	Armed Forces (British Army Colonial times)
•	USSR army (manual for locating scarce water 1930)
•	The Bahamian Government (location for drilling water wells, 1950s)
•	First and Third US Marine Divisions in Vietnam, 1967 (locating tunnels, traps, munitions depots, arms, and the Viet Cong)
•	Engineering Companies
•	Water Companies
•	Breweries
•	Utility companies(to locate unknown utility lines and pipes before digging)
•	Building Contractors
•	Cemeteries

What is detected by biolocation?

•	Underground rivers, Springs, groundwater, underground pools of water,
•	Underground oil and gas reserves,
•	Underground mineral/ore deposits
•	Water pipes, electric lines, gas pipes, sewer lines, phone & cable lines
•	Archeological sites
•	Caves, Tunnels, Graves, any excavated earth
•	Geological or seismic faults
•	Dead bodies or live people and pets, lost or hidden
•	Treasure
•	ANY THING THE MIND CAN CONCEIVE

Biolocation or dowsing enables us to use information stored in the “master library” regardless of time evolved since the data was stored. Wake up the sleeping 90% of your brain and use it to enhance your life! Learn to dowse.

Dowsing Questions are the most important step of dowsing. These dowsing questions and the formation of dowsing questions are critical to receiving correct answers. Most beginners proceed with any question that can be answered with a yes or no. Although a yes or no can be attained, seldom does the accuracy exceed the law of averages. By asking a confirmed correct phrased question, one may increase the number of accurate answers.

Dowsing questions protocol:

Always	ask if it is a good time to dowse before starting,

Write your question down,

Dowse with your pendulum to see if the question is phrased correctly,

If your answer is no, rewrite the question until you get a “yes”, that the question is phrased correctly,

When the question is written correctly, read the question exactly while swinging the pendulum for an answer.

This may seem to be an elementary procedure, and it is, but if followed until good habits are formed, this step will eliminate many false responses while dowsing.

Perfect practice with correct dowsing questions will improve your accuracy. Frequency of dowsing is paramount to train your mind. If you answer the phone swinging the pendulum you will quickly see a positive or negative response from your pendulum to the caller denoting if you want to continue the conversation, if the caller is truthful, (if a prospective client, do they pay their bills on time). Dowsing questions at work, at home or on the road will gradually build your confidence and ability to use more of your brain while awake. Like all new learned practices, diligence and self discipline will yield a new habit in 21 days.

Military Dowsing came into its own during the Viet Nam War. Very little publicity was released concerning the huge success of this project. Armed with simple “L-rods” the trained troops were able to locate underground tunnels, booby traps, mines and hidden caches of arms and ammunitions. A professional military dowser can locate the enemy, night or day, underground, underwater or above ground, the precise location, regardless of the distance between the dowser and the target.

Military dowsing is no different than civilian dowsing except that your military dowsing can save your life! If you find yourself deployed in one of the global conflicts, make some L-rods and a pendulum to assist your tasks of every day.

Military dowsing encompasses “Remote Viewing” and has been classified until recently. Paul Smith, retired Intelligence Officer led this department of military dowsing and now teaches civilian dowsers methods and techniques used in military dowsing.

Louis Matacia, maestro of radiesthesia, for over 40 years, was allowed to teach 108 Marines on their way to Viet Nam, the basics for military dowsing. Every Marine taught military dowsing returned home safely to herald their teacher and military dowsing as the major reason for their lives being spared. Read the complete account of military dowsing as taught by Louis Matacia.

Pendulum dowsing can be achieved with any weighted body suspended by a flexible cord, chain, string, thread or stem. Pendulum dowsing has been used for over a thousand years and some say over two thousand years.

Most dowsers have a favorite dowsing tool and the pendulum happens to fill this favorite choice by most master dowsers. The reason for the pendulum’s popularity is that it is small, compact, convenient and can be used for most dowsing tasks.

Pendulum dowsing requires just a pendulum. However there are thousands of renditions of pendulums using glass, crystal, metal, magnets, rings, cork, wood, and some with hollowed chambers in which to place a “witness” or sample of the object you are searching for. Any pendulum will work to practice with but you may want a specialized pendulum for serious dowsing. Eventually pendulum dowsers experiment with designing and or making a pendulum that fits their own criteria.

Each dowser will develop his or her own personalized techniques in which to pendulum dowse. As you continue to dowse you will realize that your method of dowsing is a personal science that when combined with a journal or diary will improve with practice. Dowsing like an art skill will improve if you practice correctly. Find a mentor (master dowser) to critique your dowsing results.

These exercises will instill correct practice until you can develop a better degree of proficiency and develop your own methods of dowsing.

1.	Learn how to hold the pendulum,
2.	Learn to “adjust” the pendulum,
3.	Learn the 3 basic movements of the pendulum,
4.	Develop your dowsing Protocols,
5.	Learn how to use a “witness”,
6.	Learn where, when and in who’s presence to dowse or not to dowse,
7.	Practice, Practice, Practice.

Holding the Pendulum

•	Much has been said of the correct way to suspend the pendulum. Hold the string between the thumb and index finger pointing down.
•	Remember your entire body is an antenna to receive energy. If you were to extend the remainder of your fingers, separated, you would extend your antenna mass greater than a balled fist.
•	One would usually hold the pendulum with the hand that you write with. If you are right handed hold the pendulum with your right hand. If you are left handed hold the pendulum with your left.

Balancing the Pendulum

•	Adjust the pendulum by holding the string only about 1 1/2” above the pendulum.
•	Now start the pendulum swinging, in a straight line, aligned with the ARM holding the pendulum.
•	Slowly extend the string above the map, table, picture or blank paper while concentrating on the object being dowsed for, until the pendulum begins to circle in a clockwise direction.
•	The pendulum will be adjusted for pendulum dowsing of this specific dowsing task at this time.

Basic movements of the pendulum

The basic pendulum movements are:

1.	A clockwise circle,
2.	A counter clockwise circle and
3.	A straight swinging back and forth.

After you have “adjusted” the pendulum,

a)	Start the pendulum swinging, in a straight line, aligned with your ARM. Ask out loud for the pendulum to give you a “yes” response. Make a note of the direction the pendulum is moving.
b)	Now ask out loud for the pendulum to give you a “no” response. Record this movement.
c)	Remember that if your question is unclear, convoluted or cannot be answered with a yes or no you may receive a neutral response from the pendulum. The movements of the pendulum may not be in the same direction as another dowser, that is ok.

Develop your own protocols. (Add to these as you develop success.)

•	Have a fresh paper pad and pen available
•	Write down the question before you ask the question.
•	Ask clear and concise questions that can be answered with a yes or no.
•	Be well, under no artificial influence (alcohol, drugs, etc.), refreshed (not tired).
•	Be comfortable, sitting is fine, do not rest your elbows on the table.

Dowsing with a Witness

A witness is not another person. The witness is a similar item to the item being dowsed for. If you are dowsing for lost keys, place a key in the pendulum hand or press a key to the forehead while asking your questions. If you are searching for a pet, the witness could be a toy or article worn by the pet.

Where and when to dowse and in the presence of who?

•	Always dowse in a place where you can “clear the mind”, not be interrupted for any reason other than fire!
•	If another dowser is present have an agreement that only one will dowse at a time and the other will remain behind the active dowser.
•	Dowse only when refreshed and rested.
•	Never dowse in a crowd or in the presence of naysayers.
•	Dowsing is a learned scientific art, if you feel the need to put on a show, stop dowsing and join an acting school.

Practice

Your need to practice pendulum dowsing will be rewarded with accuracy. If you follow the steps above you will train yourself to be disciplined, and gain the ability to have your subconscious mind operate and communicate with you while you are awake. Little practice produces little results. Lifelong correct pendulum dowsing practice produces a Master Dowser!
